Too Busy or Too Lazy?

Hi there !

It was more than a month I neglected this blog.

Tsk Tsk Tsk

Definitely not a good start.

Oh about this entry's title, I'd rather say (type) both! 

Lazy and busy have the same rhyme, right? LOL.

 Yes, I was too lazy plus busy at the same to update the blog.

This semester is officially my new step into my final year in UiTM Shah Alam (InsyaAllah)

I was very busy preparing my final year project proposal recently.

And Alhamdulillah, both my design proposal & project site were finally approved! :)

I proposed a design on center for the visually impaired children.

It's actually quite tough for me to do the project.

Especially when it relates to children and disability.

Because I find there were very limited sources about the design for visually impaired children.

However, I'll take that as a big challenge for me.

And I really, really hope it works and I can make it to the final.

InsyaAllah...

Pray for me, would you? ;)

So, after this (starting this week, actually) the abundance-of-model-making sessions are about to begin. Sigh~

Since next week I have to make a concept model related with my design concept.....

this means I SHOULD have no time to play and lazy around (lie!)

But, final year is like goosebumps to me

I must commit 110% on this project (like, seriously!)

Okay, enough with the babbling...

But, why the hell am I still doing in front of this lappy at 4 am?!!!!

Okay, my cozy (NOT!) mattress is calling!

Giant Macaron !

This is Delectable by SU's giant macaron 

Okay, maybe I'm a bit exaggerated :P

It's not that 'giant'

But it's a bit bigger than the common ones

The size is about the big of your palm

You will definitely get the sugar rush ! LOL :D

I bought the caramel latte flavour

I'm not a big fan of latte, but I still give this a try

But, it's really suitable for the caffeine lover! 

You will definitely love the taste. A bit bitter & sweet 

It blends well ;)

Priced at RM10 for this big

Delectable also served two other flavours of macaron ; Chocolate & Orange

Reading ROJAK

Yeah, I'm reading Rojak instead of eating it

Actually, I was talking (typing) about this book...

To be honest, I'm not really a bookworm

There were only certain times I will turn into worm bookworm

So, bought this book last few days

Luckily for me, this book was the last one left in the MPH MidV

So, I just grab and pay! :D

Some of the contents

The author is Amir Muhammad, who wrote the book of Yasmin Ahmad's Films.

Most of the stories inside were happened in Malaysia

Some of them were also inspired by Amir's works and what he had seen around him

What I like about this book is, it has illustrations, so you won't get bored reading it.

This book full of fun, hilarious, cynical & light jokes, hence the title.

So, if you need a light, not-so-serious reading material, I suggest this book :D

Today's post is quite long & it's all about food food & food !
Please get ready to control your desire for food, people.
It's Ramadhan && I intentionally posted this on this month.

Nowadays, it's so hard to find a very nice eatery which serves very nice dishes too.

It can be either the foods are good but the ambiance just so-so OR vice versa.

But, if you are looking for a good place with good foods, try this place...

Fat Spoon Cafe :)

A unique cafe on its own...

The first thing that you’d notice would be a vintage door with a fat spoon handle *cute*

I bet some of you have already went there, yes? no?

Whatever it is, the concept of the cafe is brilliant ! 

They keep all the atmosphere go vintage.

Ohhh I love vintage stuff. 

The interior

The menu board was using those primary school black/greenboard? and coloured chalk

(I suddenly remembered the concept of 'Coffee Prince' Cafe, a Korean movie ;D)

And what most excites me was this...

The Peter & Jane / Ladybird book was used as a menu book! 

How cute & creative was that?!

They remind me to my childhood life.

Okay, let's talk about the menu we ordered ;)

Obviously, for drinks, we were not creative enough of choosing variety of drinks.

So, we ordered all the same, Ice Blended Lychee & Mint.

Luckily, it was really good !

Super refreshing !

Mieza's : Spicy Beef Macaroni Soup (Highly Recommended !)

 This one is very good. The colour, the texture & the taste of course! 

Oh my! I will definitely choose this after my next visit ! ;)

His : Ulam Fried Rice (A Must Try !)

The fried rice tasted like nasi kerabu to me. But, more tastier than that!

I love how the taste of ulam blend so well with the fried rice. 

Yummeyyyhhh! :D

Mine : Fried Chicken with Thai Salad with Lemongrass Soup ;)

 Well, my food was not as good as theirs. But, I didn't say it was bad though.

I love the hotness of Thai salad and the refreshing of lemongrass soup :)

I should choose the recommended ones after this *facepalm*


Dessert : Cempedak Spring Rolls with Vanilla Ice Cream (Highly recommended !)


Oh my, this one is to die for !
The sweetness of cempedak & vanilla ice cream is such a great combination.
Not too overwhelmed. The taste is just nice when it melts in your mouth :)

Sorry, but camwhore-ing & pretend-you-are-not-camwhore-ing is a must !

But, our food-hunting session didn't stop at Fat Spoon.

Then we fooling around at The Curve & Ikea.

Alhamdulillah Ikea food court had already cleared from all those Halal issues.

We, fat bellies couldn't resist their meatballs since then.

So, off we go to the food court for dinner. Again, for foods!

We just love foods. No doubt :D

Camwhoring again, this time with the foods :D

Mine - 5 pieces (one already in the tummy)

His - 15 freaking pieces! After all those fried rice & ice blended???!!


Okay, now I concluded that a man's tummy is 3 times bigger than a woman's.
*ahem* Thanks for this instant fact.

And.......

Our tummies felt very, very happy that day. Hehehe :D

On Hiatus & About

Hello again !

If anyone noticed, I have been on hiatus for almost a month! 

Quite a while huh?

If you didn't noticed, FINE... *sobs*

It's not that I don't have any fun things to write, but I was really busy for the past few weeks.

I'm not going to tell you what but it really went smoothly. 

Not a big deal, really! It's just part of my personal things :)

Ohhh. And it's 1st day of Ramadhan today, people!

It's still not late for me to wish all of you, Muslims...

Salam Ramadhan Al-Mubarak!

Follow the rules and be a good Muslim :)

May this year's Ramadhan be the worth one for you and all of us

Refreshing Tropical Treats at Home !

If you noticed, I put the coconut shake on my blog's side bar

Yeapp. I really love coconut shake.

The taste, the texture, the creamy color *drool*

And guess what?

Since it's all-year summer here, I treat myself a home-made coconut shake.

Tasty & refreshing!

Okay, I give you these simple steps of doing a tasty COCONUT SHAKE :)

Ingredients :

- 1/2 cup of fresh coconut & coconut water

- 1 cup of ice cubes

- 1/2 cup of milk
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

- 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream

How-to :

- Blend all the above ingredients 

- Pour it into a glass

- Put 1 or 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream - up to you

(If u want something fancy, sprinkle a bit of chocolate rice or cocoa powder on top of ice cream)

- Pluck your grandma's orchid flower and put it on the ice cream *kidding*

- And... your coconut shake is ready to drink !

As simple as that, right?
